Callis does not have a humor tool in the same class as John Hodgman. We're talking 40 - 50 vs. a clear 70 in Hodgman.

I know there's value in, if not quite certainty, at least probability. But the Red Sox can always buy good players. Callis just said that Giolito would have quite possibly been the top pick in this draft if he hadn't hurt his elbow (but didn't need surgery) this spring.

He really needs to go to UCLA. Great coaching staff that has a good track record of producing pitchers under Savage and the Giolito family isn't desperate for money.Giolito should just have TJ and get it over with, who cares.
edit: The Nats are also in the lower third in bonus pool money at $4.4M.
