Jim Callis @jimcallisBA
#Pirates grab Dahl at 8. Very athletic OF. In down year for #mlbdraft position players, we're seeing up-the-middle guys go quick.

To share the world shattering insights of Harold Reynolds

Please, I'm trying to master the skill of instantly repressing memories so that I can erase his presence from my mind immediately after he shuts up.

My favorite was his, in a span of 10 seconds, saying that Appel was dropping because of perceived signability issues and then saying that "people" are overstating things to say that Appel's dropping as a result of signability.

Hard to say. The BA mock in their magazine has him not being taken in the first round as a result of fear of his elbow injury.

I miss the old bang-bang middle of the day draft, where the threads were 2-3 rounds behind.

Luckily(?) Bud Selig uses three and a half of those minutes simply announcing the picks.
