OK we're back on our main server.  It was taking a super long time to move *everything* back just to save a day's worth of messages.  I've been at this all day now and need to get back to my real job so.,... sorry.  Working on a better plan in case this happens again.  nip

I thought they should blow it up. Even if they don't win this series, I'm glad they didn't -- especially since blowing it up likely would have included trading Rondo.

That said, people lauding the Celtics for their grit tonight are spot on. Their defense in the last minute and during OT was beast mode, refuse-to-lose stuff. Even Daniels did the right thing by obscuring Wade's view just enough without fouling.

This is a huge point. It's bad that fell so badly for the fake, but the fact that he managed to control his body so as not to foul Wade was huge.

Little too much garlic in the sauce yesterday, came down for something sweet and saw this thread still going. This was one of those games that keeps you up later anyway. Real good win, or really bad loss makes for a bit less sleep. Need to grab one in their place now, like the Red Sock game in the Bronx in '04.

He spends his entire game around the perimeter. If he spent 1/4 the time he spends practicing his jump shots practicing his big man skills he could have been a pretty damn good NBA player rather than a footnote.

I'll be honest: I like the sweater. I think if you saw a guy in jeans and that sweater, you wouldn't think twice about it. It just looks weird because of the context?

[edit: maybe I am just being lulled by the dreamy look on Rondo's face]

Watching Crawford and Kennedy try to one up each other tonight was like watching Bird vs. Dominique in 1988. Very impressive.

Perfect! :bravo:

Last night they were also ripping Wade for not taking the foul.

Honestly, it would have been a beast to get that foul...Marquis did a very good job of avoiding him...Wade would have had to jump so deliberately sideways it could have conceivable been offensive (it wouldnt have been called but still)

Went looking for a Heat message board for some Schadenfraude and found this one right away:

Can someone give me the play-by-play of the last possession because I shut off my tv because I couldn't bare to watch?

Can't say as I've ever done that after watching a whole game. Almost need rabies shots visiting some of these boards (Gang-green like) and the misspells will break your brain.

No I'm not sorry
