"The jungle was rockin’ tonight. I want to thank all the fans who came out. The [expletive] jungle was rockin’ tonight! I loved it. [Expletive] loved it.”

Kevin Garnett, 6/1/2012

To have any shot at winning this series, we have to win this game. It's time for the captain to step up, have a big game, and help defend the Jungle.

Paul Pierce, Celtics nation turns its lonely eyes to you.

I think I'm entitled.

You want answers?

Let's do this. Win today.

(Hoping for a ref assignment that is favorable for the home team)

LeBron is undoubtedly A-Rod (or at least A-Rod when he was still alive).

He's obviously supremely and unusually talented but is completely tone deaf and never has any clue about what a normal human reaction or comment is. He's like the kid in Annie Hall who always gets it wrong. If anything, LeBron is even more A-Rod than A-Rod. Though I don't know if Delonte has climbed on Mrs. Rod.

Who is Wade? There isn't an obvious candidate on the MFYs. Does any MFY routinely beg for calls and attempt to injure opposing players?

And there's no one in YankeeLand, even Michael Kay, who approaches the level of seething Boston Hate enjoyed by Mike Breen. And it's not that he's necessarily a Heat fan; this was going on in all its glory in the Celtics-Lakers final in 2010.

Putting all that aside, this is THE game, Celtics. Win this one and you have a fair shot at the Finals. Lose it and you have a very good shot at watching the Spurs-Thunder (and I think the Thunder) making Queen LeBron their crying bitch.

Cheers and kudos to all those reading this who will be at the game tonight.

I won't be able to watch this one, I'll be seeing Radiohead in D.C. I would describe my excitement level as "Tony Parker upon meeting your younger sister."

Celtics were -2.5 before Game 3. They're now 2 point dogs. Everyone expects Miami to win tonight.

It makes little sense to me. The Celtics blew them out in game 3 and the line moves 4.5 points the other way?

He'll only have about 3.5 minutes worth of game-time to do it before he gets fouled out, so he better jump if he gets the chance.

Make no mistake, these officials suck ass. But the with the Cs having gotten one win in Boston, bettors could be thinking that's it and the Heat players will play with greater urgency tonight. Hell, I'm almost as worried about that as I am this horrendous officiating crew.

Come on, TS. The C's have been very good at home during the playoffs.

Bettors are not counting on a sudden Miami resurgence. They see a road-friendly, anti-Boston crew and have placed their bets accordingly.

Sure, they have been very good at home in the playoffs. And I'm not saying that bettors aren't looking at the officiating crew. They most certainly are. But they could also have thought -- as many talking heads did after game two -- that the Celts would likely get one of the two games in Boston and not both. Those two possible reasons for the line moving are not mutually exclusive.

I'd say the key to victory is controlling the paint again, but more likely it's a deranged fan Celtic Prideing Crawford, Kennedy, and Davis.

I'm actually hoping for a double-reverse. Stern has heard/seen the public's distrust of the officiating (and even ESPN questioning it) and orders a crew that would seem to be pro-Miami to slant it towards the Green. No real harm done, because this is a game the C's *should* win.

A guy can dream, right?

Please?

Well it seems like I'm caught up in your trap again
And it seems like I'll be wearin' the same ol' chains
Good will conquer evil and the TRUTH will set you free
And I know someday I'll find the key
Then I know somewhere I will find the key
Well it seems like I've been playin' the game way too long
And it seems the game I played has made you strong
Well when the game is over, I won't walk out the loser

Going to be an uphill climb playing 5 on 8. Need to set all that aside and take this game from Miami. Lebron and Wade love to cry. Give them a good reason to break out the tissues.

All I want is a game that is decided by the players. If the Celtics come out like shit but have a couple annoying calls go against them, I won't care. I just don't want to see a repeat of Game 2 where the refs' obvious bias determines who wins.

Oh yeah, I still want Wade's blood to be cleaned off the parquet.
