In a fairly-officiated league it's 2-1 Celtics, but I'll take it. Win Sunday and we got a series.

You know what's funny to me is that a healthy Celtics team blows these fuckers away...and still loses in the finals to the Spurs.

Why was Bron Bron high fiving the guys after that loss?

Does he have any clue what is going on? He is always a chapter off in the "How the fuck to be a human being" handbook.

The technical on Garnett still has me heated (as do the Game 1 T's and Game 2 Overtime debacle), but that only makes the win sweeter. Never, ever been the type to blame the refs before this series. Still, I shouldn't even be talking about it right now after a great team win...but it just hurts to know it really should be 2-1.

But. Hooray!

Officials were far from perfect tonight, but at least fouls were even at 24. Not the big advantage for the C's that some had predicted, but better than the alternative.

Miami was 10-20 from the line while Boston was 20-26.

Miami was 49% from the floor and Boston was 50%. Both were 5-17 from behind the arc.

A 44-32 advantage on the boards was a nice to see tonight.

FOUL PICTURE – FINAL (Starters in BOLD)

MIA - 24

James - 4
Wade - 4
Chalmers - 3
Battier - 3
Turiaf - 2

Anthony - 2
Haslam - 2
Miller - 2
Cole, Jones - 1 each

BOS - 24

Bass - 5
Garnett - 4
Allen - 4
Pierce - 3

Rondo - 2
Dooling - 2
Pietrus, Daniels, Stiemsma, Hollins - 1 each

HALFTIME: MIA - 13, BOS - 12
END 3 QTR: MIA - 19, BOS - 19
5:17 4 QTR : MIA - 21, BOS - 21
2:56 4 QTR : MIA - 23, BOS - 24

I'm not sure what to think about the refs tonight. They were terrible...but they were terrible to both teams.

Don't get too excited Breen, he's ok.

Lol was thinking this as I watched.

But seriously, good win. I decided not to post till post game tonight as our record reflects much better results when I don't post during games. Still feels like we should be the ones up 2-1 but whatever, get one more Sunday and send it back to Miami 2-2.

Fuck you Wade you smug piece of shit!

In fairness, they're used to playing 8 on 5.

KG is still the key to the C's defense. The Heat's big run coincided with KG sitting on the bench in the 4th.

Edit: His +/- was +27 in a 10-point win. Wow.

Fuck these miserable cretins. Watching Wade pathetically play for a foul and not an actual basketball play on multiple occasions was fucking awesome. Just break your fucking shoulder again you bitch. When the game is called even slightly in favor of the Cs they folded like the whining doucges they are. Gimme some more home cooking on Sunday and I'd love to see a few more Chalmers flops.

Damn. Even the Mourning/Hardaway Heat were detestable. I used to actually pull for the Knicks in their rivalry.

In the 14 minutes KG was on the bench, Miami shot 85%.

- In fairness I do think that the Heat got hosed a bit on the first half. They enjoyed a couple of calls going their way when the Cs lead was too large.

- I like that we won. i don't like it became close in the end.

- I like we went on the paint to KG. I hope we can keep it up.

- I hate the 3s aren't falling in. And not just this series, it's been happening throughout the post-season. I think we re hitting 30% of our 3s whereas we had a 37% during the season.

- I hate that the Heat role players have been playing relatively well.

- I find it interesting that we re beating them on the rebounding front. It's just not that we have a size advantage, I think we approach it differently by contesting offensive rebounds more.

- I am getting glimmer of hope by Allen's gradual finding of his groove.

Guy from the miami sentinel "YOU DID NOT GET A SINGLE FREE THROW TONIGHT. I REPEAT, NOT A DINGLE FREE THRIW. CAN YOU EXPLAIN WHY???"

"I did everything I normally do. I guess it wasn't meant for me to get to the line tonight?"

Have you noticed that in their TV graphics avatars they re smiling while Rondo, Garnett and Pierce have a mug-shot face? I bet a publicist told them to smile.
