"Two thousand fouls against Bron and Wade?" - the messageboarder posted. "No! We will not watch - and we won't miss it!"
"Yes!" I posted back. "Don't watch and you may be fine. Watch something else and you will live - at least awhile. And dying in your bed many years from now, would you be willing to trade all the days from this day to that for one chance, just one chance, to come back here as internet geeks to tell the conspiring commissioner that he may take our away our season...
but he will never take away our love for CELTICS BASKETBALL!"
Let's do this. Win today.
(Hoping for a ref assignment that is favorable for the home team)

Here are the starting lineups for tonight:
now I'm depressed.
Is it bad that I want Hollins to get ejected from the game as a result of levelling wade on a drive to the hoop, ideally on an offensive foul involving Hollins's foot to Wade's smug sneer (and/or groin)?

No. Because I want Hollins to be ejected for "inadvertently" snapping Wade's leg.

I'll consider this series a success if Wade suffers the fate of the Black Knight. Though considering his flopping antics over little to no contact, he'll never claim it to be just a flesh wound.No. Because I want Hollins to be ejected for "inadvertently" snapping Wade's leg.

Big posters of the Wade kick, and the Wade smack to Rondo's head, and maybe some good egregious flops too.

Seriously now, HOW does this guy have a job?
If the reffing does go the C's way in an egregious fashion, I'm just going to feel insulted. Like Stern and his gang of assholes think we're that damn stupid.
So here's hoping the C's just ignore everything and play well. And that Wade arm flies off into the stands.

Or even, on defense if Hollins or Dooling, as soon as W or LbJ gyrate, they did the same thing?
Would it be good theater? Or am I just an irrationally angry idiot?

Going out to watch this with a buddy who is a LBJ fan and I'm sure other bandwagon Heat fans who will be there. Please make this an enjoyable experience Celtics & refs.
I don't associate with such people.

In fairness, The Onion is a better source of journalism than ESPN. You can't really expect much better from them.
ESPN stopped doing journalism about the same time MTV stopped playing music.
