My company, approximately 400 people, is considering converting to this platform. Initial, primary use is for company wide email but obviously, there are quite a few other benefits & options.
Do any of you have any experience with this product? Interested in any feedback I can get. Thanks

I've been using it for almost 3 years. Only 50 users, though, and gmail/calendar are all that are really utilized by people here. I just wanted to get rid of the in-house Exchange server and it has been a dream.

I do not consider it ready to production for a firm which prioritizes mail. We have a number of clients with it and it's generally been stable but when it is not it is next to impossible to get status or a human to speak to. We are also not fans of it's integration with Outlook, which is important for some and not for others.

The next step up brings considerable reliability, and you'd probably be at the $25/mailbox/month level, which is much higher than the $50/year.

4 years, three diff't companies - but none greater than 50 employees. Rock solid, never an issue (cut the outlook cord). Mail & Calendar seamless, docs pretty awesome - and changing to Drive should enhance the product.
There is considerably more to the overall offering, but those three - and the $50/user/year = no brainer for me.

I'll mimic what Nip said about the Outlook integration. It sucks. I moved my company to it (25 users) 2 years ago and it's been solid for the most part. I gave my folks a choice between using it web-based or via the Outlook sync. I should have mandated web based as it's how it's intended to be used. I simply wanted out of the bloated exchange server mailbox store, it was difficult to manage the size of user mailboxes (for me). They've just moved their spam filtering from Postini to their own and I have had issues with alot of new spam getting through, but otherwise looking back I would still make the move away from Exchange. Your results and needs may vary.

P.S
it's great for use with android phones as well, as the interface is identical for the most part to what you get on a PC.
