Due to being on the road the last two weeks, I've barely caught any of the games unfortunately. I'm cursing my hotel that doesn't have NBC Sports. I was definitely hoping for a Kings - Rangers final, but I hope to catch a bunch of these games as well.

Anyways, the underrated effect of the Devils making the SCF is that it's pretty much a guarantee they surrender this year's 1st round pick to the NHL for the Kovalchuk punishment, right?

If the Devs win it's 4 straight years that the team eliminating the Flyers WINS the Cup (Pens, Hawks, B's, Devils). I'm hoping that, 25 years later, Hexy finally gets his ring. Go Flyers West!

This is the first Cup Finals in a long time where I literally don't give a shit who wins. I have no idea I'm rooting for. I don't really hate anyone on either team and there are some likeable players involved.

Anyway, I'll put a prediction in of Devils in 7. The Devils are a bit more battle tested than the Kings.
