Jon Abbey and terrynever carry the load in this forum. Though I'm a Red Sox fan, I appreciate their efforts. Somehow, I think CC pulls this out. But, maybe just maybe, I'll be wrong.

To paraphrase Bobby V, if this ain't rock bottom, I don't want to see what is. No Rivera, No Robertson, no offense, no defense. No luck. The wind is blowing in at YS two days in a row. Teixeira probably needs to go on the DL to cure his bronchitis.

I'm calling it a pretty good slump for now. This team needs to go on the road and relax. Maybe they're still mediocre when they're not pressing.

You talking about the play today or just in general? Because the play today was a do-or-die line drive short hop that hit him in the wrist. But yeah, defense is a huge problem right now and probably until the left side of the infield retires. A-Rod has no range to his left anymore because of the hip, I guess. He waved at a double yesterday. Booted a ball today. Every day these butchers do something awful.

This is the worst Yankee team since 2008 and even that team had something going for it. The veterans were all four years younger.
