Felger said last night that he thinks Pierce is OK and is playing possum, and will eventually have another 35 point game.

The comment was idiotic. There's no way PP is going to hold back in a playoff game so he can catch someone unawares down the road.

Still, I do hold out some hope that whatever ails him will stop doing so.

Go Pierce health!

And beat the snot out of these guys.

That is an unbelievably dumb comment. The only thing that can help Pierce, marginally at best, would be a sweep and some rest. Get halfway to that goal tonight.

The only player on Philly that scares me is Spencer Hawes. He seemed to be scoring at will on Saturday and they probably would have won if they gave him the ball enough.

Felger's overall comments were absolutely insane. He was also mentioning that KG is 1) 'playing for a contract' or 2) giving it his last best shot before retirement. He said those were the only two things that explained how he "sucked" in the playoffs last year and did not this year. Scalabrine and Max almost blew a gasket, asking "can't he just be playing cause he cares, cause he loves the game and wants to win?" Felger is too thick to possibly acknowledge the fact that Garnett was worn down last year, or that the 5-5-5 plan helped, or that he is just feeling better. He literally feels that KG didn't try hard enough last year. He is our Skip Bayless.

KG will get it again tonight. Win.

Looking for a little pre-game pump-up? Paul Flannery gives us some insight into the world and mind of Kevin Garnett, circa May 2012.

Teach these jokers a lesson tonight. I can envision a slaughter. The lessons learned from the first half of Game 1 shall prove to be most fruitful.

Tipoff at 7:02; they're not screwing around when TNT has a double-header.

sixers are in big trouble if bass is going to hit that shot since their entire defense seems to be to leave him and kg open and hope they miss

If Pierce can get the mid range game going, his injury will be much less of an issue.

Any other guard in the NBA attacks the rim and at worst gets to the line. Not Rondo

Bass lets the pick and roll get split like a Subway worker splits a bun. Too fucking easy.
