According to WBZ-TV, #RedSox Slugger David Ortiz was involved in car accident on Boylston street on his way to Fenway Park this afternoon.

Doesn't say how bad of an accident is, but still alarming to say the least.

The last two years have been an insane roller coaster of ups and downs, good luck and bad... even if this is a fender bender with no injuries and he just misses a day or two from being sore, it seems an appropriate place to go from the recent Josh Beckett circus.

I honestly have no idea what to even think about this team anymore. It feels like so much more than poor play and injuries. I'm not a superstitious person. I don't believe in karma or anything like that. But seriously... WTF?

Watching on NECN now, it looks very minor. Unless they're showing old footage of him standing outside the park, he appears fine. He was taking pictures of his car, which appeared to be a white sports car.
