Fact 1: Bard keeps going one inning more than he should. Then, instead of leaving with a thankyou, he throws a tantrum. Why isn't he pitching 5 or 6 innings per outing? Is he too good for a normal shift?
Fact 2: Proof that we have to be in first place. We have the GM (who really should keep his mouth shut) stating that our .219 hitting 3B has a safe job over the kid hitting .409. If Cherrington said anything it should have been, "Youk will be at 3B as long as he deserves to be at 3B...so long as he can do the job." I didn't realize we had the luxury of starting .219 hitters. So we MUST be in first place if we can afford that luxury.
