Maybe its because he loafs for the regular season (hard to imagine that when he averages 11.7 apg), but the degree to which Rondo elevates his game for the playoffs is matched by very few Boston athletes in my memory.

I figured it would come eventually, but tonight is the first time in the playoffs I really felt this team can go far. I knew deep down they had a chance, but its never comforting when the first 3 games are total grinders with that game 1 shit show thrown in...it was nice to see them go out and smoke them.

I really like them more with Ray back and being able to score off the bench. I was watching them closely tonight and they were chasing Ray all over the court on defense which opened up some easy shots for others.

I just realized Pierce was a +33 on the floor in seventeen minutes. Nevermind getting 24 points on 10-13 shooting in that time. That is taking efficiency to a new level.

Wow, the Hawks are a bunch of tremendous athletes/good individual players who individually and collectively are not very good at the game of basketball. When they are not out in transition, they have really no consistent way of scoring.

And I finally figured up what the Red Sox are doing - they are sucking so as not to draw attention from the real story in Boston sports.

Just wait until the C's win the championship - then the Sox are going to go on a run.
