Predicting his line:

Goes 0-4, with 2Ks.

What everyone else got?

It'd be nice if MLBN flexed out their 7PM games for this, but I'm not sure they've got that ability. Any chance someone has a link for this one?

I fully support this thread. As the Nationals were a hot topic in the MLB gamethread I think that we can start their own thread here.

Plus if we had a Natstown thread when they were abysmal that worshipped the demi-god Lastings Milledge it will be fun to have a thread now that they are getting better.

Here is some fun reading about how the Nationals got to this point:

Here you go buddy!

MLB Network announced today that it will televise the Major League debut of Washington Nationals outfielder Bryce Harper, the No. 1 pick in the 2010 draft, at 9 p.m. Saturday at Dodger Stadium
Stephen Strasburg, the No. 1 pick of the 2009 MLB draft, is the Nationals’ scheduled starter and will face the Dodgers’ Chad Billingsley. The network will not show the Chicago Cubs at Philadelphia, originally scheduled for the Saturday night telecast.

1-4 with a long fly out and a seeing eye single in his last AB.

Saw him play about 40 games last year, so I'm stoked. He'll look silly a few times trying to reach a curve all down and away, and I say 1-3 with a ground ball single and a walk.

MLB Network giving us the MASN Nationals feed instead of Vin Scully is fucking criminal.

Strasburg shouldn't be alllowed to throw breaking balls like that to the opposing team's pitcher.

Completely switching over to this now that the Sox have won. Nothing better than seeing Strasburg and Kemp lock up right now.

Strasburg's dominating, has 5 K's, and hasn't thrown a change up yet im pretty sure.

Guy celebrates after getting the foul ball after it bounces around several times, and he has a glove. Good job guy.

I guess the Nats will have to make him their closer instead of a starter.

Harper stepped out, ump called time, and he gave the "it was him not me" to Billingsley. How cute.

Kinda rooting for this game to stay scoreless and go to extras so we can see more of Harper.

Well it's not scoreless now. Not going to root against the Nats if they've already scored. We'll see if they can hang onto this lead.

He also needs to grow back the mustache he was featuring last season in the minors.

I'm going to assume that getting hit in the hand by a Strasburg fastball is probably the worst experience in human history.

That's what happens when you wear a helmet two sizes too big to protect the faux-hawk.

Harper just gunned down a runner trying to score on a perfect throw. Too bad the catcher dropped/bobbled the ball and the run scored.
