Another 2004 Red Sox mention. That never gets old.

Ha. I came here to post it, mentioned at 5:28 in the Dallas game. I thought the Dallas coach was using it again, but this time he was telling his players they should be trying to hit singles...be Derek Jeter. LOL. Then the announcer talked about the previous mention of the Sox comeback from 3 - 0 down.

Learned a lot about OKC tonight. After 3 it looked, like the veteran team had the young guys beat for at least one game, then bam! Harden leads OKC on a furious comeback, crushing Dallas, even as the refs bail out Dirk every time he touches the rock. Big ups to the Thunder, ine team in the NBA I would give the Celtics a 0% chance of beating in a 7 game series.

Except for... You know... The game tying shot

You mean the one he hit right before Hill got fouled? Can't make 'em all.

If the Celts can get by the Hawks, I would not mind at all if they get matched up w Philly. The Sixers just aren't getting any "easy" baskets against a Bulls team that is similar to the C's defensively. And the Bulls aren't even playing at full strength. Offensively, the Sixers don't really seem to have much rhythm.

Can't decide what I want to see more - a Heat loss or the Knicks getting mercilessly booed by their fans.

A Knicks sweep to another team they hate would be better. Miami is winning this series regardless.

His career was basically over already, but have to think it officially is now. I'm amazed at how he was so calm on the floor, almost laughing. He probably knows that was the end of the road for him.

Sure....usually in high speed car accidents though, not playing basketball. And in order to dislocate your knee, usually a whole bunch of ligament have to be torn along the way.

That had to be some kind of broken fibula and a dislocated kneecap. You could just see his knee turned to one side and his leg hanging there. Shades of Shawn Livingston.

Just about the best possible outcome, and explains why it looked so bad. Still won't be seeing him anytime soon

I love the Knicks choking this away. Heat should go for the win -- no need to play for OT when up 3-0.

Those were installed 11 years ago. You know, when Latrell and Allan Houston were supposed to lead them back to finals.

She did not appear to be anywhere near as 'talented' as Morgana. She was pretty much replacement level, which may have sparked her foray.

This whole thing is ending in Celtics/Lakers. Again. We're going to get to see a third chapter. And the Celtics won't lose this time.

I'm this close to putting serious cash on a Celtics title.

The story hasn't changed since '08, and it wouldn't change in the finals. The C's have struggled with the Lakers size in their recent meetings. And that's really the Celtics weakness; rebounding and interior defense. Plus, the Allen injury, HCA, the officials. LA would beat them in five or six.

Yup. As much fun as beating the Lakers would be, I do not want them in the Finals, Bynum and Gasol are problems with no adequate Celtic solution. Best bet for a C-18 might be the Spurs match-up in a early-bird special championship series.
