Blech, that sucks. I had a meeting last summer that I got into town way too early for and ended up wandering about NYC in 80-90 degree heat with a 3 piece suit on. I must have stunk something awful.

I start Monday, although I've been doing manual labor all summer so my body is likely to consider this a 3+ month vacation. The job only lasts through mid-late November so I basically have to dominate in that time so that A)they ask me back next cycle and B)they have great things to say when my contact in the company tries to help me get something more permanent.

In other news, had an eye exam yesterday. Doc says my eyes are red and irritated, I say I'm tired + my contacts need to be changed (hence getting the exam) + I've been doing a lot of demo lately and there's a good chance all the dust has affected my eyes. He says mehhhhhhhhhhh no it's the lenses try these lenses for a week they breathe better. By the time I get home they've already dried my eyes out. I try them again this morning thinking my eyes were just sensitive yesterday but...dried out in five minutes. There's no way the piece of shit lenses he gave me breathe better than what I had.

Yeah it's for work. I travel a ton, have been going back and forth to Cali most of the summer, but spent last week in NYC. Good God the Acela ride home yesterday was miserable, I was still drunk when I woke up and then the hangover hit on the way home.
