Wow, I missed out on some great stuff the last day or two. Rocko's Modern Life was one of the best at following the Looney Tunes' lead and striking a perfect balance between stuff for kids and adult inside jokes. Watching it now is amazing and makes me wonder how I could ever watch it without understanding, for example, that Filburt is a Jew. Great, great show.

I always liked Doug, but it became infinitely more awesome in my memory when I realized that Billy West was the voice (MIND BLOWN). I am, however, still confused about the race dynamics on he show.

On the flip side, there were days I was sick but wouldn't stay home from school because I hated Nick Jr. (HI THERE FACE HERE) so goddamn much and the decent shows didn't start until like 2 or 3.

Nick Jr. was the worst thing in American history, non-sports/genocide related. All was well again when Stick Stickly appeared in the afternoon.

There's a song from Rocko that has been stuck in my head for about 15 years. Rocko fought city hall!

I hate the RMV almost as much as I hate PSK. Only here is a 90 minute wait "not so bad". And I've been here four fucking times so far trying to get my car registration converted to Massachusetts.

I AM TRYING TO GIVE YOU MONEY, YOU ASSHATS.

I only recognize the intro riff to Wolfmother's "Joker and the Thief" from Vancouver's PA after Bergeron's game 7 shortie.

God that was an awesome game.

Jesus this is funny.

SI's big Kings article featured "Rapin' Drew" but was written before those charges came to light. Headline was "Kings might not have Drew for next year" because of a possible work stoppage. They were right, but not for the reasons you think.

I'm almost 100% certain that I'd hire you if I needed a lawyer - the small percent chance that I wouldn't would be if I"m getting divorced, I wouldn't want you anywhere near my ex-wife.

This is an exceptional idea. I will sue them for cosmetic damage to my 1996 Camry and the pain and suffering of having to listen to the recap of my group's standup this morning.

What state are you in? Intentional infliction of emotion distress seems like a fun case to try on those facts.

Bad comedy can be very painful for everyone.

I'm gonna agree with Blacken.

Unless you're really really funny (we know you're not), it's never a good thing when your bosses start tracking you on social media. It means you've probably done something to draw their attention.

You can set your account to private, and then only people who you message and people who follow you can see your tweets. Honestly, if they care that much about my messages to nerd-rockers and morning show hosts that I send out about 1/month, I really don't care.

Had an interview today, it went really well and got a call from HR a few hours later asking me to come back in which they said usually means good things. It's been a bitch without getting a paycheck since January but hopefully the light is at the end of the tunnel.
