Oh Washington, did you really want to go here? Your litany of Game 7 failures is well known to everyone. Even if you don't believe me, look at the replay of the Seguin goal and the reactions in the stands. They know. They've seen this movie before plenty of times.

Oh sure, maybe a champion player like Fedorov can pull one out of his ass when the rest of the team is skating with sphincter muscles so tight they could crack a coconut. But in looking around your roster I don't see Fedorov. However, I do see failures like Ovechkin, Semin, Backstrom and Green. You know, the guys that got smacked in Game 7s by the Flyers, Penguins and Canadiens in just the past four seasons.

To paraphrase the immortal Larry Bird after the Atlanta Hawks lost a similar Game 6 (that's basketball for you DC folks - I know you don't have an NBA team so I need to explain this), "they had their chance and they blew it." Sounds about right. You didn't want Game 7. You know you will always fail in Game 7. And this time will not be different.

Well I was 100% wrong, it is back to exactly the same god damn feelings as last year, and it is awesome and it sucks at the same exact time. Nothing sucks so much but is so awesome at the same time as Bruins game 7 playoff games.....except for Flawless's mom.

I found it to be the opposite. I was stone sober for Game 6 and it damn near killed me. The beer helps me stay sane.

I've been sipping on Laird's Applejack so far for all 3 wins... just bought a new bottle to ensure we're good for tonight.

While the most likely scenario is for tonight to be a very close, low scoring game... my gut keeps telling me the B's are going to win big. 5-1 with Seguin going nuts.
