Guess Fox doesn't know who's pitching for the MFY. In their Keys To The Game segment the note that "Ivan Nova needs help. 3-0 for the Yankees". Um, Tim, take a look at your notes and your score card. Garcia, Freddy.

I think they were referring to the fact that's he's been the best pitcher on their staff. Like he can't be their number one guy, CC needs to help too

sometimes when McCarver says something I can't help but picture that scene in Always Sunny where Dennis reads the campaign speech Charlie wrote for him.

Your suggestion?

The lineup that would've resulted in a lead off double instead of a 1 out double.

Just read this...

2:23pm: The deal remains probable but timing issues remain, according to Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports (via Twitter). The Cubs are likely to pay most of Byrd's remaining $6.5MM salary and Red Sox pitcher Michael Bowden is in play.

Theo must be the last surviving member of the michael bowden fanclub.

What do they mean "timing issues"?

I don't get it. I heard you need a LHH hitting 2nd to move the runner over.

Stay on the field for 120 games. Lavarnway's never done it and Shoppach would be exposed.

Also per Sprowl, Salty has been very unlucky w the bat so far.

He has been unlucky but Salty is the one who got exposed last season. Dude hit a wall, hard.

The Commissioner's Office needs to sign off on the trade because of the money the Cubs are paying.

All I can think of is, if Miller is involved, they need him off the DL before he can be traded.
