Today not represents 100 years of Fenway. As much as the new handling of this team from Theo's departure onward has been discouragin, who gives a fuck when Clay throw the first strike? Play some damn ball, beat the MFY. Win this for all the greatness throughout Fenway- we've seen some fucking pain, but some fucking awesomeness. From Tris Speaker winning the original opener, to impossible Dream, to Pedro, to Dave Roberts stealing 2nd in 2004... let's do this!

Posted Image

Fuck the Yankees, stone 'em; maybe wake up Babe Ruth, drill him in the ass!

PLAY BALL!

Here's to Papi having a huge game in the presence of some of the other 25. You kinda forget that with Tek, Wake, Tito and Theo suddenly gone, he's the last link to '04. (I know Youk also, technically, but he's really an '07.)

100 years is a mere blip in human history, yet it's nice to have the oldest ballpark in the country right here in the Commonwealth. Happy Anniversary!
And Geaux, Sox, win!

100 years = 100 wins! We've only lost 8 so far. This goal is still within reach.

The Red Sox seem to win when Dwight Evans is around these days. I'm assuming Dewey will be around today.

I hope the Sox remember the Yankees tanking the last series in Tampa last September. Remember Scott Proctor and go out and treat their whole staff like Scott Proctor. The only manager I care about this weekend is that POS Girardi.

I've decided to wear my mountain biking helmet during gametimes this entire weekend. For many reasons, none being that I'll be on a bike.

On this historic day, an historic ass kicking is in order. Please PLEASE make it be the Yankees who go home with their tails between their legs.
Go get them, boys - put on a great show for the Speedy Boys of bygone days.

GO SOX - WIN TODAY!

Happy Anniversary, Fenway!

Let's celebrate the day the way we did back when the park first opened by administering a solid drubbing to those Highlanders!

WIN!

It's a good thing I'm never going to have grandkids because they would be so sick of me talking about Pedro it's not even funny.

Why the hell is some no-name meteorologist on the pregame show right now? There are probably well over 100 former players near by and they’ve got this clown with his “sabermetic” view of the number of home runs that have been averaged this season at fenway park.

Ceremonies start streaming one hour before game time. Unless you have NESN and a sling box, you may be out of luck.
