4/19 - Swizzy vs Hughes: Twins go for a series win. In the Bronx. I know, I can't believe it either.

Why didn't Joe pull Hughes after he walked Morneau?
Keeping pace with Bobby?

Logan might not have been warmed up yet.
Doumit is a switch-hitter also, and Hughes still looked like he had good stuff against Morneau.

Please go to Wade and not Soriano in the 7th. Soriano pitched last night, let him rest for tomorrow if possible.
Soriano warming, so no luck for you there, JA.

Probably, plus the Twins' pitching is so mediocre, Girardi probably isn't that worried.

@jasoncollette
Joe Maddon going all LaRussa here as he uses his 3rd reliever in as many batters...in the 6th inning
Maddon might have shitty relievers but at least he tries.

I thought Phelps would've been the first out of the pen. He hasn't pitched since Saturday, I believe.

Ah. Nothing like a Russell Martin GIDP. He and Jeter must share tips with one another.
More like Cano this season. Robbie has hit into five, including the bases loaded one earlier this game.

The two starting catchers for the Sox and the Yankees are hitting .080 and .133.
LOL I was actually trying to calculate how you got to .213

Only three things in life are certain -- death, taxes, and the results of a rembrat Yankee gamethread.

Once Rivera retires they'll get it. It would be embarassing to watch an at bat charted out with a pitch tracker when Rivera's on the hill. MLB would have to have a discussion with their umpires about calling Rivera's pitches properly.How the hell does the YES network not have an Amica/Pitch Track graphic yet?
So hopefully beginning of 2013.
