Hats for Friday's game. Sox are wearing blank hats.

Very surprised the Yankees agreed to wear throwbacks for another organizations celebration.

The Cubs did it for a game with the Sox last season: http://www.boston.co...hrowback_night/

It would look pretty stupid if only one team wore the throwbacks tomorrow.

I would rather see Nunez in LF and Ibanez DHing with this lineup:

YANKEES (6-6)
Derek Jeter SS
Curtis Granderson CF
Alex Rodriguez 3B
Robinson Cano DH
Mark Teixeira 1B
Nick Swisher RF
Raul Ibanez LF
Russell Martin C
Eduardo Nunez 2B
RHP Phil Hughes (0-2, 9.00)

TWINS (4-8)

Denard Span CF
Jamey Carroll SS
Joe Mauer C
Josh Willingham LF
Justin Morneau DH
Ryan Doumit RF
Danny Valencia 3B
Chris Parmalee 1B
Alexi Casilla 2B

RHP Anthony Swarzak (0-2, 3.75)

Nunez is really versatile. He can make errors at 3/4 different positions.

Morneau walks, then Doumit gets lucky with a shift-beater.

Ibanez having to do some early work. I don't know if Doumit got lucky, he might have pulled his hands in and fought it the other way.

So, when is this ridiculous experiment of having Nunez play in the field going to stop? How many errors must he make?

Oh, and Pineda needs to hurry up so I don't have to watch Hughes pitch anymore.

It's very hospitable of NY to spot MIN a 4 run lead every night.

MLBN thinks I want to watch this game and has blacked out Texas at Detroit as if it were a REd Sox game. What the hell?

He got married at age 48 in 1996, his suffering wife delivered four children, including triplets. They got divorced in 2008. So you're right.

I'm still kind of laughing about someone saying in the Peter Abraham thread that maybe he took off a few days to spend time with his kids. If that guy is married, I will be stunned.

He said many times on his LoHud blog that he spends time with his sister's kids in Attleboro, Mass. The sad truth is a lot of people who cover major league baseball don't have great social lives. Many of them marry late, or get divorced early. Spring training is the only time the wives/girl friends have any fun.

Also, pretty sure Leiter just drew an ejaculating penis with the telestrator.
