There is a kid on my son's little league team that does this. Its's weird because he is right-handed but he does throw hard left-handed. His dad is a bit of an asshole so I am sure he made the kid do this when he was very small.

My experience is that its usually that the parents know nothing about baseball.

I know the crowd is chanting "Rodney" but I like to imagine they are saying "Bobby"

Calms me down.

Actually no, I don't need F&M in my life right now.

Nobody deserves that.

Make it happen, David!

ESPN Gamecast still doesn't have A-Gon's GO.

Of course it also says it is 64 degrees at Fenway

He hit it hard. If Peña isn't holding Pedroia on, that would be a tough play.

My son throws L and bats R. He's left handed for virtually everything except batting. It's weird.

And I definitely did not encourage it when he was young. It very much restricts his baseball possibilities because he's too small to play 1B and can't play anywhere else in the infield. He used to catch when he was younger but can't any more.

Make him a switch hitter. That's what Lance Berkman's dad did; it worked out pretty well for him.

And the same thing for strike 2. ??????

EDIT - And again for strike 3. All five pitches in that AB, according to espn's gamecast, were *WELL* off the plate. For those folks watching....were they?
