Thought you were going to say a grenade.Aaron Boone, Tebow and Dwyane Wade all in one section. What I wouldn't give for one well-struck foul ball in that direction.

Why exactly did Wells double-clutch on that ball? Aside from the fact that he's awful at everything.

Does Bourjos catch that? I assume he plays shallower than Wells.

Trainer taping up Cano's ankle or something?

In his defense, Pujols is switching leagues and seeing a lot of new pitches. He's certainly not the first big money slugger to struggle in the first 10 days with his new team. Pressing comes with the money.Pujols seriously looks like he has the same problem Crawford had last year. Pressing too hard trying to live up to his contract. I'm guessing Pujols will bust out of it like Crawford never really did last year.

So Nova is the Yankees' ace now. Okay.

I don't know about that, but he was their #2 guy in the ALDS last year, and he somehow hasn't lost a game since last June (he was in the minors for a month, but still).

Nice to see a little offensive explosion.

It's Jerome Williams. You expected a pitcher's duel?

Also, now that Jeter's gone back in time and brought his 1999 self to the present, which Yankee does JA despise?

Easy - ARod.
Posted 15 April 2012 - 08:18 PM
I haven't really been able to hate him since 2009.

Arod is classic lose-lose. If he sucks - Yankees lose short term. If he's good - they overpay him even more than they are and jeopardize signing Granderson/Cano/important pieces in 2014.

It's 2012. He's signed for 5 more years. 2009 is long gone - and ARod is not the same player. Not even close. But he's being paid like he is.In 2009, he wasn't lose/lose.

Isn't Takahashi the guy who shut down the Yankees in a Subway Series start a few years back?

Edit: If you didn't like Jeter's 3$/51 + option, I can't understand how you're not livid with remaining ARod's 7/$200-210+ deal left.
