Ladies and Gentlemen of SoSH.

I'd like to introduce you to the DEFENDING Stanley Cup Champions, the Boston Fucking Bruins.

Posted Image

It feels good, doesn't it? Being back here. We forgot what it was like to play not games, but shifts that are life and death.

The young kid came in and got it done, until he didn't. The overpaid star was an underperforming loser. When it mattered the most, they were not what we thought they might be.

Lets continue to remind them that we are everything they want they want to be, but aren't.

It's time for new Blood (for Blood).

Looking back at all the times we had, I wish I could tell ya' that they weren't

all so bad.

But in the end we were just wasting our time,

Yeah I knew what you were but I was out of my mind.

I know most of you didn't listen to Bane. And I can get that. Bane is terrible. But you really should listen to Blood for Blood. Maybe not at work though, or near people that you want to continue to respect you. The first 5 seconds of this track are....colorful.

And here's some other Boston area '90's hardcore!

Not that it matters, but this guitarist is going to be sitting in with my band on Thursday, May 10th at O'Briens in Allston. I knew you cared. :q:

But this isn't Bane.

And at least listen to the first 5 seconds. Come on. You know you want to.

I love OT playoff hockey, but I can't take that every night or I'll have a heart attack. How about scoring earlier and more often on Saturday afternoon?

That's an understatement. I was expecting the words to be blurred under lots of guitar roar, but no, out they poured, clear enunciation and everything. :buddy:

Yeah we're total god guys...

I play in two gigging bands, a third that hardly ever gigs and am involved with two projects that are just getting going (one involving some pretty big names in metal that I'm way excited about).

I will listen to as much Bane as possible so long as TSC and the Bruins go on another run like they did earlier this season.

Guys - It's not Bane anymore.

Bane was what we needed to bring it back. We needed that nostalgia. We needed something to remind us where we came from.

This is the playoffs. It's time for Blood for Blood. Bane is the past. Blood for Blood is the present.

Hopefully just a maintenance, preventative thing. And not a "oh fuck he's actually hurt" thing.

You know, I used to think the annual phenomenon of non-hockey fans coming out of nowhere to declare how amazing the NHL playoffs are was kind of cool, but I've thought about it and I'm reasonably sure it's just a load of shit. Not because they are wrong - of course the NHL playoffs are the best - but because it's simply a byproduct of hockey being incredible to watch in general. More people start paying attention for the playoffs, and these lame asses think a sport that sucks in the regular season suddenly becomes great?? Bullshit. If you didn't suck you would watch it all the time and realize it's just an awesome fucking sport.
