Even the refs couldn't take this one away. Pierce put the nail in with that left handed layup.

Couple things that provide hope:
-There is no elite team in the Eastern conference that isn't flawed or has major injuries.
-This team with Ray coming off the bench is a much better team than they were starting out the season... apparently the lack of energy to start games wasn't just Oneal, but the combo of having Allen and Oneal on D. Allen is the almost perfect 6th man (or 5+)
-Bradley and Stiemsma stepping up happened due to injuries...either Doc recognized their ability or his hand was forced due to what he didn't have... either way I'm glad it happened. I've never thought Doc allowed young men to gain confidence through minutes (mainly because of a vet organization), but this is what I'd expect when giving young men a few extra minutes and I'm glad it happened.

Regardless of everything I have posted this season I loved this win. The Pierce drive to the hoop and left haded finish was awesome.

I continue to be blown away by the season KG is having. 11 of 14 from the field tonight. Wow.

If this team moves the ball on offense they are very good. We have seen that in the last two games. For most of this season we have only seen it in 6-7 minute spurts.

If KG can play like this in the playoffs, this team is dangerous.

Worst thing in the world might be winning the Atlantic but finishing 4th, and likely seeing Indiana in the first round and Chicago after them (if they can even get past Indiana).

If they can jump to 3rd and fetch a possible matchup with the Heat in the 2nd round instead, I like their chances much better.

Nice to see them take LeBron's best shot and still win convincingly.

Couldn't be more impressed. We could be gearing up for a very fun playoff run.

the best (and worst - i'm a cuckold) part about this forum is that comments are saved. not many people thought this team could do anything. beaten the bulls, beaten the heat twice. are starting to play with a consistent rotation, even if it's an 8 man one. they're playing well down the stretch. hard to complain about this team right now.

go c's!

3 steps with the ball off the floor is a travel not a shooting foul.

Yeah, tough to watch this league.

LOL... Hubie - it's Bradley's fault for letting Chalmers push him from behind.

This game is a bunch of horse shit.

It's taken a while, but I'm all in with these guys the way they are playing both ends of the floor. They are playing so well. They are really, really dangerous in the playoffs.

It's just a salary drive by KG!!!!!!

Exactly. LeBron is just an immature douche. Wade is a pompous and dirty player.

Well put.

Alex Terrio, a fan wearing a Heat T-shirt, won a 2012 Kia Optima for making a halfcourt shot in between the third and fourth quarters.

Never seen that done. Did the announcers mention this? I was fast-forwarding through anything but action on the floor so I might have missed it.

It was shown on the C's CSN broadcast but I didn't see it on the espn national broadcast when they replayed it later.
