My head says this isn't the most important game in the next stretch. With the game in Miami, starting a stretch of 5 games in 6 nights, against a Miami team we embarrassed in Boston just over a week ago, we probably shouldn't get greedy. A loss leaves us still in great shape for the playoffs compared to a few weeks ago so all will be ok.

On the other hand in my heart I want to see this run continue, I want my playoff expectations to raise, I want to believe that we just MIGHT have a chance to make one more deep run with this playoff team and as someone might say "Anything is possible."

Then there is this third part of my anatomy that is filled with sports hatred that wants to see Lebron lose, hopefully in some conspicuous way that leads to a lot of negative attention and a series of espn stories about his history of choking against the Celtics. Also Avery Bradley blocks a shot into Wade's elbow dislocating it horrifically and leaving him hobbled for the playoff run.

This dark part of me is probably wrong on some philosophical level but it feels so good.

So yeah let's do this thing.

I want to see Steemer block a shot so far down LeBron's throat that he can't ever open up his big,fat mouth again.

Killer stretch coming up with 5 games in 6 nights.

Let's start off on a great note and then rest the starters later in the week!

Why does ESPN feel the need to add two shot clocks to a picture that always has the real one in it?

By the time the Heat "fans" arrive they'll see their home team down 4.

I predict at least three horrible calls that will threaten the safety of my remote control. I'm getting keyed up just thinking about it.

Looks like that "Fan Up" campaign didn't pay any divendends. Lots of empty seats for a Heat/Celtics game.

Well Scott Foster is one of the refs is expect some bogus calls later if the game is close to the Vegas line.

Bass should have let that go out of bounds rather than give Miami a live ball turnover. Steemer is killing them right now.

The pace isn't great with the turnovers and fast breaks but I am happy with the outcome so far. I'll be curious to see how the second unit performs against this group. They have played great lately but this will be a real test.

The first part of this season I was frustrated watching the team, but this second half of the year has been awesome. Obviously they have won more games, but it's also a return to the great defense and moving the ball on offense. I'm just trying to enjoy this run while it lasts.

I have bashed Doc before relentlessly, but he's a top 3 coach in the league right now.

We lost Green, Wilcox and Pietrus and he's managed to keep the team together and competitive.

Hell, I'd even through him a bone and draft Austin Rivers if he's available!

They endured the early run, they got calls, they played better D as the quarter went on and closed it out with no apology. That was a fantastic quarter.

Zach Lowe said he could see the C's become a contender again quickly with a couple of new contributors. Bass, Stiemsma and Bradley fit that bill quite nicely.

Steimsma and Bass look like they've been part of the team for years. How the heck has Doc gotten these guys to gel in a season with almost no practices?

Wow, that passing should be on sportscenter. I love how unselfish this team plays on offense. Sometimes it actually HURTS them but I'd rather have a team making too many passes then not enough.

Of course this is what is frustrating about their offense at the end of games but let's stay positive right now.
