Isn't that by far the best time?

I mean, they're on the road, all of the Spring Training decisions have been made, and there aren't any foreseeable moves until a few more series in ... he can't exactly pick any other week during the season, plus it can't happen during ST or at any point in the relevant free agent period.

Plus, he didn't have to watch the longest public abortion in American history.
