One year ago at this time, I started my first Bruins game thread of the season. Some might say the hometown team was so inspired by that thread that they won two games in a row, and allowed me to finish out the regular season portion of the game threads. Some might say that the game thread I started actually compelled the Bruins to their first Stanley Cup championship in 39 years.

Would those people be worth taking seriously? Of course not. But why mess with a good thing?

- TheShynessClinic - 16 games (11/1/11 - 12/6/11)
- Titoschew - 8 games (12/10/11 - 12/31/11)
- Me - 7 games (3/24/12 - 4/3/12)

The special award for unluckiest thread starter goes to Spaulding Smails, who started the 12/8/11 thread, which was the loss in between TSC's and Titoschew's streaks.

This always bothers me. I cannot do the number-> player association in hockey. I think its because of all of the movement, rather than shots that are more stable in football/basketball/baseball. I could probably give you the numbers of 7 Bruins if asked.

Playing golf on a nice day while downing a few cold ones is a great time (not that I have any sort of game whatsoever). Watching golf on TV is about as exciting as... Well there is no comparison because golf on TV is the most dull thing in existence.

That about sums up my opinion. A bad day of golf is better than a good day of work, and being out there on a nice day is downright sublime even if you're playing like shit.

I actually enjoy watching golf on TV, especially on a lazy Sunday afternoon when I can half nap and half pay attention. Watching what these guys can do on a course is impressive as hell.
