That move by Spezza is exactly how I score like 95% of my goals on XBox. Carry it from the halfboard to the center while the dumbass AI defenders watch and fire a shot against the grain.

Oh my god, Corvo skates directly away from the puck instead of fucking playing it in the neutral zone. Holy shit dude.

Ottawa is officially our first round opponent.

Edit: Why do they count down to 11:00 left each period? Something about Alfredsson?

Edit 2: Also Ottawa is not officially our opponent. I'm dumb.

If scores hold we're an Ottawa regulation loss to NJ and a Capitals win over the Rangers' AHL squad (plus a Florida point against Carolina) on Sunday from playing Washington in the first round. I'm not convinced I don't want Ottawa to get a point tonight to lock in the 7. Is that crazy?

Ottawa is officially our first round opponent.

Can't they still come in 8th if Florida and Washington both win their last game, and Ottawa loses out? Wouldn't that would put Florida 3rd, Caps 7th, Ottawa 8th?

Yeah, I'm an idiot. I wasn't looking at Washington, just Florida. So technically we're down to Washington or Ottawa.

Carkner's been trying to hurt someone all night. Not necessarily anything illegal, but going high and sometimes a little late.

Gotta say, for a 6'4 borderline second-round bust, Carkner is really good at losing fights to Danny Paille.

Ottawa loses in regulation to NJ, Washington beats NYR, Florida loses in regulation gets at least one point against Carolina.

I know it might not be best for the Bruins playoff matchup, but I want Khudobin to hold the line here. He deserves this.

Why is this the case when they would be tied with Ottawa having more ROW?

Would that not result in Washington 3, Ottaw 7, Florida 8? I'm confused.

Washington has more ROW than Ottawa, if that's the tiebreaker for the 7th. Florida would need to win the division for that to be the case, though.
