Or, less ideally, if Rask's demands this offseason are unreasonable you can extend Thomas a couple of years and go Thomas/Khudobin (I can't see them trading Thomas if he has another strong postseason, even if it is arguably the best use of assets). It's unfortunate that he was injured when Rask went down, since it was the exact situation he was signed for, but he is a tremendous asset as the third goalie.

I've never understood why the guy without a stick doesn't just get off the damn ice in those situations. Better to be an extra man down for 10 seconds than be 1/2 an extra man down for a minute.
