Krug looks competent, that's definitely an improvement. Assuming that Hamilton makes the team and the 7th defenseman is a Zanon-type veteran, Providence should be pretty filler-free on the blue line: Just off the top of my head Krug, Cross, Warsofsky,Trotman, Button, Cohen are all prospects with NHL upside that should be in Providence, plus guys like Bartkowski, Kevan Miller, etc. Noboody that profiles as a top-pairing guy but a lot of guys that should be able to fill in on the bottom pairing immediately with second pairing upside.
