The B's just beat the Islanders, a team that actually have a period in their history when they were awesome. Now they play the Rangers, who have been an underachieving bunch of douches for most of the last century. There are a ton of reasons why this game won't go well:

- The Rangers have won the first 3 games between the teams this season.
- The game is in New York.
- The Bruins are playing the second game of a back-to-back.

But when it comes down to it, the Bruins have

and they also happen to be the defending Stanley F'ing Cup Champions, which automatically makes them more awesome than the Rangers.

If the B's equal or better the points gained by Ottawa against the Islanders, they will clinch the Northeast Division title. They could also lock up the #2 seed, depending on the result of the Panthers-Red Wings game.

When the Bruins had that 116 point regular season in 08-09, the talk around the league was "let's see what they do in the playoffs". The Rangers have a great regular season and all you hear out of the media is positive. Shit, NBC just wants to hand them the cup now. It's funny what happens when a team has a little success in that media market. They could be contenders but they haven't won shit yet when it counts. The Bruins have proven that they can win it all. I wouldn't count the Bruins out no matter what the head to head record was in the regular season. Hell, we lost the first four reg season games to Montreal last year and how did that turn out when it counted?
