There's a 40 percent chance that Kevin Love will outrebound the entire Celtics team and let's say a 70 percent chance that the Celtics will win anyway. No Rubio, no Pekovic, maybe Ray. This is the last game against a sub-.500 team until mid-April.

No Beasley and no Northeastern's own JJ Barea either.

By my estimations, Kevin Love would probably have to break Wilt's record tonight for us to lose but then... this is the Celtics we're talking about.

Compelling matchup. You have the road-weary C's going most of the way out west again to play the Wolves, with the greatest player in franchise history suiting up for the visitors. Of course, Kevin Love wants to show that the New Boss is better than the Old Boss, and I'm sure the Old Boss wants to show the New Boss who is really Boss. Love can score and rebound, but KG loves to stops scorers from scoring and can still rebound a little bit himself. This matchup alone makes this must-viewing.

Both teams are riddled with injuries, and the C's are making due with a dearth of bigs by cashing in on the Big Ticket every single night. Topple the Timberwolves!

As the crow (or in this case, the plane) flies, yes. Have you ever driven from Minnesota to Boston, though? Let me tell you, friends, it's a trek!

Great lakes keep getting in the way. Remember, your VW Beetle will definitely float, but it will not float indefinitely.

Do we want the Celtics to hear the call of the wild, or the Wolves?

Better than decent. Don't forget, he's only 21 years old. He's a plus defender already, and he's turning into a very respectable mid-range shooter. He also cuts better than an enraged O.J. Simpson with a machete.

Sure at SG.

Took the Celtics a year and a half (what many of us on this board saw in his first pre-season game) to figure out that he wasn't a PG. At least they got it eventually.

Am I the only one who read that as "cheesesteaking," which might be an appropriate regional variation?

What win this would be if the C's hold on. With no stats to back this up, feels like the 3rd quarter seems like their struggle quarter.

Looking good so far.

Nice that Philly pissed away a game against Washington tonight, by the way.

The refs have decided to keep the Muskies in the game by relentlessly whistling imaginary fouls to put them on the free throw line.
