You know if Gus Johnson were doing this game, he would've said "El Kabongo" by now.

Did Rick Barnes drug his players before the game?

Have I told anyone lately how much I hate Rick Barnes?

I quit donating to the basketball fund because of that assclown and can't wait until he's fired. No one on earth does less with more than this fucker.

I love UT yet never pick them to win a tourney game. Not in the last 5 or so years at least.

I don't think Texas even has offensive sets right now. Rick Barnes should resign at halftime.

That is what you get for trusting a guy who used to coach at Providence.

You should see the angst and hair-pulling going down on the Texas boards right now. Rick Barnes has cursed Texas: good enough to recruit really well and get into the tourney every year. Bad enough to screw it up every year. You will never lose money betting against a Rick Barnes-coached team.

Hook 'em anyway.

I'm not angry because I expect it. But he should still be fired IMO.

texas teams are like uconn squared. recruit a bunch of studs, say "go" and then see what happens 6 months later.

But he never will be. Dodds loves him because he recruits well, makes the tourney every year, and makes money. That's the standard now at Texas. Makes me sick to watch it, but that's what it has become.

would love to see an NC State victory here today. basketball is more fun when NC State is good. They're staying in there with SDSU, which makes sense -- State has solid talent, they just need to get up for the games. and not do dumb stuff.

Like get in foul trouble? Leslie and Wood both have 2.

Yeah. Though, only 2 at the half, up by 4, they can work with that.

I fear no team in this tournament but there are teams I wouldn't mind avoiding - Creighton is one. I don't think they could stop Carolina inside but I also think they would make 20 3's.

Texas' comeback has taken so much effort, you wonder if they have the legs for the last 4 minutes. Thus far, they definitely do.

Texas had a chance to take the lead and had a careless and huge turnover. Cinncy seems to be taking it to them now. What a choke on that TO.

Tie it up, then stop playing anything resembling set plays and doesn't get back back on defense. Great.

Texas has enough talent to be a regular fixture in the second round/Sweet 16 IMO. So many of Texas' HS kids that play in Austin at the UIL tourney (hey my alma mater won a title last weekend!) would alone make up a hell of a team.

Talent isn't the problem at UT lately. They consistently have highly rated recruiting classes.

What a shocker: Texas fell behind, came back, and still lost.

I'm liking my NC State-over-Georgetown pick more and more with the way the Wolfpack are playing.

SDSU player did a blatant travel/double dribble so he could get a whistle and alley-oop himself off the backboard uncontested.

UNC will have their hands full on defense with Vermont. They are a patient team that executes their offense very well. They run the Flex about as well as anyone. UNC's length and athleticism will obviously be a problem. Watch out for Four McGlynn. The AE Freshman of the Year leads the team in scoring and he doesn't even start. He can get his shot off as quick as anyone. If he gets going, he doesn't miss. With UNC's perimeter defensive problems, he could have a big game.
