It seems like every bad call, all year, has turned into a goal for the opposition. Every one.

Bruins have played a pretty good period. But thanks to incompetent officiating they are behind. Fuck this shit.

They played well and got screwed. The second period needs to be all Terms of Enrampagement.

Well, according to the Panthers announcers, Thornton and Campbell should both be suspended for their dirty play.

And by Campbell I mean Gregory Campbell.

And it should have been a 5 minuet major on Thornton because of the blood.

The calls were horrific, but at some point you just have to sack up and kill the penalty off. They haven't done that in a long, long time. During this stretch of poor play, it seems like every time a call goes against them they slump their shoulders and watch the puck fly into the back of the net.

I just went back and watched the Florida feed during that whole exchange, and they wanted two penalties: the obvious one on Thornton that did not require discussion, and the "elbow to the head" by Campbell. His elbow did not hit Weaver's head. Weaver hit his face on the dasher.

Oh my.

Then they mentioned how Campbell would be getting a call from the league, and said that the Bruins "dirty play" came back to bite them after the goal.

But dirty play against the Bruins is fine. Tom Sestito didn't even get a penalty, let alone a call from Shanahan, and our (presumably) dirty thug Horton still isn't playing.

I'm not bitter or anything.

Now they called the hit to Marchand "textbook" followed by "couldn't happen to a nicer guy." They wanted an unsportsmanlike on Marchand for complaining about the call. These guys are awesome.

Uninspired. And TT coming up with some Klutztch hockey isn't helping either. If it looks like it might be a good opportunity for them, it seems that it alway is.
