Clode should have gone with Turco from the start, still don't understand that move. Now to watch the Celts and LA. Disappointment Sunday continues!

Lone positive: Turco looked decent. If he can give them that kind of effort down the stretch (huge if), that will be a big boost for this team.

I think I'm just gonna watch the 2011 Stanley Cup Champs DVD on a loop during any game the rest of the way. I know that way, my blood pressure won't spike up to 300/240 watching Thomas play literally every remaining game and the rest of this team either get hurt or limp-dick their way through this season.

Another "if": Turco continues to get playing time.

Does Clode have a choice? It's plain to see that Thomas has not been himself and needs the rest.

It's been plain to see that for weeks. Since Chia mentioned how important it was to spell Thomas from time to time, Rask was reduced to one start a week before hurting himself, and Turco just made his first appearance today. I'm almost willing to bet Turco doesn't start Tuesday.

Haggs: "Claude Julien when asked if Malkin may be suspended for boarding Boychuk: "It was Malkin, right? It wasn't [Matt] Cooke? It was Malkin.""

Can someone explain to me why nobody laid a finger on Malkin? Thornton was out there... I know it's not "code" to go after a guy like him and Boychuk isn't a "star" but those fucking assholes have ZERO benefit of the doubt at this point.

Game was still within reach and they knew if they started anything they would have somehow ended up shorthanded no matter what. In hindsight, yes I wish someone powerbombed him onto the ice.

I hadn't realized there was a game today. Although even if I had been awake, I'm glad I missed this one.
