Pitching: RHP Clay Buchholz followed by RHP Vicente Padilla, RHP Chris Carpenter LHP Jesse Carlson, RHP Will Inman.
Carpenter and Carlson pitched yesterday, I would say their chances of pitching tonight are 0% and 0%.
Also, it's raining and the tarp is on the field.

Big-time rainbow here at Fenway South. The bottom of one end is sitting directly atop Bobby Jenks' car in players' parking lot.

He's got Lucky Charms in the car. They're magically delicious!

Discussing run expectancy and why sacrificing outs is a bad idea on MLBN. What world is this?
Have you not seen Clubhouse Confidential? That kind of analysis is par for that show's course. And every now and then they'll bring in Mitch Williams or Harold Reynolds to sound dense.

Sorry, I copied that from the extra bases blog. It's been updated to read Bowden and Duckworth instead of Carpenter and Carlson

Me, too. I winced when Buchholz had to deal with the late timeout.I still have angst about Dustin Hermanson.

Girls that are here watching the game just informed me that Ryan Sweeney blows Ellsbury out of the water and one said he is "the most beautiful man I have ever seen."
