Seriously. Do the rest of you people even watch the fucking game?

It was Zanon's fault, but Thomas still looks incredibly slow

lol
or Chara or Kelly who both gave away the puck in the d-zone before the first goal. Or whoever left Fedotenko alone for the tip.
or Zanon who get beat bad on the stretch play, then ran his own goalie, then kicked the goal in.

Wrong. Fedotenko barely changed the direction of the puck. Thomas was too far back in his net, playing too passive.

The Zanon goal was a fluke. But Thomas still looks like shit. He's playing back in his net like a pussy.

I understand your POV, but "good" is not good enough, IMO. He needs to be great against a goalie like King Henry.

Lundqvist just loves gobbling up these shots from the point, are we more dependent on these long shots and thus why he always wears a cape against us?

No, the Rangers Defense just forces everything to the outside. They collapse in the middle, which in the Bruins offense, forces a lot of the intial shots from the point.

This team loves its cycle-to-the-point play (not exclusively of course, but they go to that one a lot), and Henrik plays so deep in his net that it's hard to beat him on a shot like that. To beat him you have to get a lot of lateral movement and shoot high.

That's all I'm saying. And it gets really old when the same people who never have a thing to say when things are going well (and you know who you are) immediately come in and say something after Thomas gives up a goal. That bounced off his own defenseman who was crashing the net.

Have to figure Scott and Thornton get into the action at some point. McQuaid may be without a dance partner. Maybe Brian Boyle, but McQuaid would ruin him so Boyle may pass.

amazing how much better the PP is when they carry the puck instead of just wrapping it around. They never seem to get possession after they dump it in.

You know, he might be slower than balls (and Balls, but we knew that), but I find Rolston's eagerness to not-fucking-onetime-everything refreshing.
