This is the first of three games against NY area teams. We know how the last one is going to turn out, so let's at least get a couple of wins before then.

Note to power play unit - pass to point, stand around, watch slap shot - lather, rinse, repeat - is not (repeat NOT) an effective method. The more you know ...

I'm getting in town right before the game. Staying at the Sheraton between Fenway and the Garden. What bar(s) might you suggest I catch the game at around there?

North Star's not bad and has good food, Fours is real good but gets packed near game time. Never been to Hurricane O'Reilly's. Boston Beer Works is solid and has decent beers and above-average bar food.

Edit: Sully's is awesome if you want to straight up drink for not a lot of money.

McGann's is a good spot that is usually a bit less crowded than the other places. When I am down there prior to a game the key for me is ease of being able to get a drink and they offer that.

Was sitting with a Wild fan at the Caps game on Tuesday, and he was high on Zannon.

Good shot blocking Dman, stay at home guy. Can't skate, can't move the puck.

Is that one of those new synthetic drugs or something?

Surprising considering you're basically normal-sized Bigfoot with regards to hair.

I posted this in the ticket swap forum as well, but does anyone have two tickets to Saturday's game that they are willing to sell?

A little sprite and poutine should get him off his game.

Make it so, garden staff.

I just saw the graphic on the Bruins' power play struggles of late. Does it correlate to Horton's injury?

Took one for the team tonight and stayed home for this one.
