Semih Erden is starting for the Cavs. JO is at the Doctor's. Should be a thrill ride.

Carve the Cavs.

Wilcox is supposed to be starting and Bass is supposedly fit to play.

If they can't beat the Cavs with Varejao out, they should be ashamed of themselves.

Good start so far, but we won't be shooting over 60% for the rest of the game.

Dooling proving again that he sucks at basketball.

Why did we sign him over Delonte again?

Avery Bradley is staggeringly useless on offense. It's like 4-on-5 when he's out there.

Can anyone remember the last time Paul Pierce made a basket?

Nice fucking job Paul, now it's up to Milwaukee to take the 8th seed. Shit.

Careless basketball right now. Rondo looks like he's still in Orlando.

I think the Celtics have more turnovers than points this period.

Rondo on pace for the elusive double double with 0 points and 1 rebound.

Edit: well i guess he's on pace for 2 rebounds

Would be better off missing the playoffs. Garbage effort tonight.

Ray runs around a screen, can't get open, runs around the other way, can't get open, whoops 20 seconds taken off the clock.

What the hell is wrong these guys?

They have had plenty of rest and Cleveland is messing one of its best players in Varejao.

We don't deserve to make the playoffs at this point. Tank and hope we can draft Anthony Davis.

Riles on a good day wouldn't go to bat for this team.

Nice rolling block to prevent the Ray breakaway.

They really need to change that rule.. I remember something like that happening in the Boston/LA finals 2 years ago too. Strange they haven't done anything about it yet.

Do you foul and play the FT game or risk them making a last second three?

I'd rather there be no playoffs than watch Lebron teabag Stiemsma after a dunk to thunderous applause.

Also, this starting 5 has never lost to Cleveland.

I don't know what more management needs to see. Mostly healthy and rested and they can barely beat Cleveland. Find some deals Danny.

Everything I've read about All Star weekend suggests that pretty much everybody got the impression that Danny is gonna blow it up, and that there have been deals that were close. I think the next two weeks should be pretty interesting for the Celtics.

If they couldn't win this game, they probably should have folded for the season.

All's well that ended well, but that play near the end of the game when Rondo wasted the clock and then forced it into KG for a difficult shot was frustrating. It reminded me of the many "give the ball to Paul and get out of the way" plays over the last several years.

Is that really the best they can come up with when they need a bucket late to either take the lead or get an insurance bucket? Why not move the ball around and look for an open shot or good luck rather than kill between 12-18 seconds before starting the offense?
