Even if we got the six seed we couldn't do anything from there

I've alrerady counted 2 Mark Sanchez moments from KG. Very uncharacteristic.

This is the worst I've ever seen Pierce play. What a disaster. He can't get to the rim anymore.

This is pathetic. We should just throw every game.

Just play all the draft guys for .001% chance one of them responds. It would be a bunch of guys motivated to try at least.

Short of crippling injuries to a bunch of teams, I can't see them getting the 6th seed.

On pace for 70 points at the half. Good thing, defense is our strength.

PS. Bradley's dunk was pretty pretty pretty good.

apparently Doc thinks that playing someone young or a rookie is tantamount to ruining their redshirt status...what is the point of playing KG, Pierce and Allen for significant minutes down 20+... and for multiple games no less? Maybe it's time for Doc to try something different. Maybe they should see the bench more often..or is he expecting them to play out of this ridiculous funk?

I think he may be more worried about letting JJJ out on the court for too long. He's got skills, but the game moves much too fast for him on defense. He needs to play the veterans to reduce the newbies' shell shock.

With Bass and Wilcox hurt, there's not much depth.

Basically, Doc doesn't have a whole lot of options: the armless, the legless, the blind, the insane.

Haven't seen a quick leaper like JJ on the team in quite a while. He's still figuring out how to play NBA D but his instincts around the hoop are good.

Bradley still has his weaknesses but I think he's improved substantially from earlier in the season when he was starting for Rondo.

Bradley's done pretty damn well on Westbrook tonight. He does well to stay in front of his man, and if he gets beat he's quick enough to get back and get a hand up to affect the shot.

Another slow start, another tighening game. If you re old, it takes a while to get going? This is happening all the time with this team.

Tonight seemed different in that they sprinted out to an early lead, pissed it away, and are now clawing back. Tough to take much away from these games given how many guys are out.

I think this is more better-team-builds-up-big-lead-gets-careless-gives-a-bunch-of-it-back. Pretty used to seeing it from the other end the last few years. :sigh: I doubt the end result will be all that close.

i think the two refs have different bets...after OKC was nearly gifted the game by the stripes, the baseline ref decides to bring the Cs right back into it

I hear what you're saying...but how are the young guys sposed to get up to speed if they don't play in a year where there are basically no practices?

I'd understand if the big three were playing lights out basketball, but they've played with no energy, little hustle, late on switches, late on recovering etc this entire season... Doc is putting too much trust in players that are playing mediocre basketball at best and not allowing players to develop at the same time... it's not just tonight..it's many games this season.

I would just let them sink or swim at this point. Either the Celtics find a diamond in the rough(or even a cubic zirconium) or you just cut them next year. It's pretty clear the team just doesn't have the talent to do anything this year, so see what you got.

And when a guy like Dooling is out there playing 15 completely worthless minutes it makes even less sense. There is no upside to this. The team is bad, he's not a young guy, and he's taking minutes directly away from someone who could potentially develop.

I think it's obvious Doc is trying to play the old guys into form. Statistically, the two players who have declined compared to last year are PP and Ray Allen; KG is more or less the same.
