Yes! JetBlue Park is off-limits until the "grand opening" on 2/25 however, you'll have access to the player development complex where the workouts take place. FYI...workouts are generally over by 12:00 so you most likely won't see any action.

We'll stick around if we know you're coming.

This way, when someone is sent to extended Spring Training, they may have trouble getting them to return to the minors or the bigs!

Oh, you folks are killing me with these shots. It's like watching someone eat while you're starving!

I suppose they aren't Spring Training photos, properly, but there's activity at home while everyone else is enjoying the Florida sun!


Popped into Fenway on a tour and came upon what appeared to be a construction zone!


This machine was cutting and shredding a strip of turf at a time.


It was like watching surgery, and the best was yet to come, because after a half hour of the tour, we were evacuated...


... because apparently my unexpected visit had prompted the place to burst into flames.

All things considered I'd rather be in Florida.

Padilla looks in great shape too. My image of him as a Dodger is much heavier, and BREF lists him at 6' 230 lbs. Looking good. Well, here he is fatter looking:

I know everyone keeps saying look at this guy, he's in the best shape of his life.... Look how muscular, man he's throwing hard, he really hit the weights this offseason, is that an extra large cup in his pants or is he excited to be at Spring training.....etc. etc. etc.

and most of it's true.. Will it provide results? who knows.

I hate to be one of the cliche' droppers about everyone looking like they showed up ready to proove last season's apparent lack of conditioning was a fluke, but.......

Felix Doubront looks amazingly thin and cut. He hardly even looks like the same guy. Is it just me or did he drop 30+ plus?
