Though I'm curious to see what would happen if they lose to Detroit twice in five days.

I have to say, I truly like Greg Monroe's game, he looks like a very good piece to build around. That being said, there is no way in hell the Celtics lose twice in 5 days to the Pistons

They are going to want this one bad after last time.

I imagine Pierce and Rondo both come on strong and they try to stretch it out early.

Despite being on the road, I feel this game is potentially winnable for Boston.

The bench offense never fails to underwhelm.

I'm really not seeing the point of keeping this team together.

13 fucking turnovers in one half. They are the stupidest veteran team of all time

Tommy Heinsohn, offering his insight on the game during the Comcast halftime show, just said that the officiating was terrible.

Officiating isn't the reason for being down double digits to the freaking Pistons

I know these guys are older/schedule is tough for old teams, but I'm not buying they are THIS bad. Note: Not saying they are championship caliber either.

We're just 12 minutes away from finding out.

Looks like the NBA is going to be dead to me for a while. It was a fun run for a few years.

I missed it, why did Rondo get tossed?

He flipped the ball at one of the officials after a no-call.

He didn't like a non foul call and threw (underhand but more than a toss) the basketball at the ref after the play while swearing at him.

I have to believe that this fine effort by Detroit is a tribute to one of the Motor City's finest, the late Michael Davis.

All that's left is at Dallas and at Oklahoma City before All-Star break.

The good news is that Milwaukee and Cleveland are only 2.5 back and both have had a much more even distribution of home/away games. I still think they're going to fuck themselves by scratching out enough wins to keep the 8 spot unless something drastic happens. Of course, that possibility has likely increased in the last week or so.

Before this season, the Celtics have been at .500 exactly once in the KG era and that was last year after the second game of the season. They'd never had a losing record at any point. The team is cooked. If KG and Ray (probably only Ray) can be moved for any value without taking back future salary, it's time to pull the trigger. They don't even necessarily need value back - just getting them off the team now adds value to the draft pick.

As an aside...the team is fucking awful without KG no matter how much he has deteriorated. They could just be a KG injury away from playing themselves into the lottery anyway.
