I imagine Pierce and Rondo both come on strong and they try to stretch it out early.

Tommy Heinsohn, offering his insight on the game during the Comcast halftime show, just said that the officiating was terrible.
Officiating isn't the reason for being down double digits to the freaking Pistons

We're just 12 minutes away from finding out.Though I'm curious to see what would happen if they lose to Detroit twice in five days.

Before this season, the Celtics have been at .500 exactly once in the KG era and that was last year after the second game of the season. They'd never had a losing record at any point. The team is cooked. If KG and Ray (probably only Ray) can be moved for any value without taking back future salary, it's time to pull the trigger. They don't even necessarily need value back - just getting them off the team now adds value to the draft pick.
As an aside...the team is fucking awful without KG no matter how much he has deteriorated. They could just be a KG injury away from playing themselves into the lottery anyway.
