I have to say, I truly like Greg Monroe's game, he looks like a very good piece to build around. That being said, there is no way in hell the Celtics lose twice in 5 days to the Pistons

The good news is that Milwaukee and Cleveland are only 2.5 back and both have had a much more even distribution of home/away games. I still think they're going to fuck themselves by scratching out enough wins to keep the 8 spot unless something drastic happens. Of course, that possibility has likely increased in the last week or so.

Before this season, the Celtics have been at .500 exactly once in the KG era and that was last year after the second game of the season. They'd never had a losing record at any point. The team is cooked. If KG and Ray (probably only Ray) can be moved for any value without taking back future salary, it's time to pull the trigger. They don't even necessarily need value back - just getting them off the team now adds value to the draft pick.

As an aside...the team is fucking awful without KG no matter how much he has deteriorated. They could just be a KG injury away from playing themselves into the lottery anyway.
