It was still an unnecessary play from Marchand, particularly given what happened a month ago. He didn't have to go low, he could've gone shoulder to shoulder and taken out Emelin.

Edit: After seeing the replay, it was not a clip. But I still think it was rather dumb of Marchand to try that again.
