It appears that around this time last year I started a game thread when the Bruins were headed out for a long roadie. I then started eight additional game threads after that tilt. Let us replicate this feat here in 2012. It all starts with Montreal.

Montreal duty for @GlobeKPD. Likely room service dinner tonight. What a waste.

No doubt, in addition to ordering up room service, he'll be looking to order up a date. 5'4" 215 lbs, all woman. Someday, he'll go the way of Bob Ryan and retire.

My sources up there tell me they make the cheese curds with their own breast milk. Can you confirm this?

Dupont chiming in throughout this thread on HF:

Five hours from faceoff here in Montreal....and I have every confindence that:

1. Thomas will start.
2. Seguin will be a winger.
3. Corvo will dress.

Enjoy the poutine...I'm here all night.

The sad thing is, he makes 3 decent suggestions to start the thread. Sit Corvo, play Rask, jumble the lines and move Seguin to center. The Corvo and Rask ones I's probably agree with (other than Kampfer not being with them currently). I can see mixing up the forward lines. Maybe not moving Seguin to C, but there's probably a case to be made that it would work. Fine.

Then he goes on to ruin it all by thinking that Paille and Seguin might be some sort of offensive answer. His only basis of this is that Paille's got wheels, and the only guy to score an ES goal in the last 3 games. He proposes Seguin between Paille and Kelly, with Caron going on Bergeron's wing. None of that makes any sense.

If I have to watch Paille and Kelly try to finish off beautiful feeds from Seguin on a nightly basis, I will literally commit murder.

Also, he is totally guessing with Thomas starting tonight. They didn't skate today, and Julien doesn't tip his hand before game time.

I'd be stunned if Timmy is between the pipes tonight. It is not Claude's MO to play a cold goalie on both leg's of a back to back.

You people are just plain dumb. I mean, you have no idea what color is salmon and what color is orange. Look at a salmon. Then look at an orange. They are not the same colors. Hell, it has nothing to do with knowing random color names for red or orange either. One is the color of a fish and one is the color of a fruit. This has always amazed me.

I'm getting a bit leery of the Feb 25 Bash.

Esasky and PSK are a well-known SoSH degenerates. But I'm thinking some of you other guys might be even worse.....

Kenny, tell me you weren't one of the kids at BC wearing salmon-colored shorts.

The object of contention is a salmon colored polo that was actually orange, as seen by the teal Polo horse on the breast. I do not own any brightly colored shorts. Vineyard Vines was never my style.

Clode is just consolidating the suck by putting Balls and Krejci together.

Don't like Looch getting bumped to the 3rd line. He's been their best forward the past 2 games.

Rask is 1-6-1 against the Habs, 10 goals against in last 3 in MTL.
He's 0-3-1 w/ almost 4 GAA his last 4 overall

Thomas is 3-1 in last 4 w/ 2.00 GAA against the Habs
last time Thomas went back to back was against the Caps and he had a great game.

Seems pretty defensible to me.
