Not pretty but a win nonetheless.

It wasn't pretty at the end but this was an important win.

You could actually hear Breen's erection dwindle as the Celtics put it away.

Amazing how Doc is always preaching team basketball. No "hero basketball" allowed. Yet when the clock strikes 2 minutes to go, it becomes completely hero basketball with Paul Pierce and a bunch of spectators.

This team is going nowhere, because there is no indication this will change. The playoffs will be all tight games and the Celtics simply cannot execute with the style they play down the stretch.

Truly there is no reason that Rondo can't be at least a 75% guy at the line. If he could just get to that point and cut down on his mental lapses

Needed that one. That was a classic performance from Rondo.

Anyone hear that scream in the background during Wilcox's post game interview with Dickerson? It sounded like the noise I made when I had snapped my wrist and they had to reset it.

That's what I was commenting on. You could see it better with Rondo's ESPN interview; it was right in the background. Either Dooling or Pietrus just screamed as loud as he could all weird like.

Oh that was Dooling or Pietrus? I couldn't see it I guessed KG.

Another comp would be Han Solo being tortured in Cloud City from afar.....

At the end, the double teams on Rondo in the backcourt was excellent coaching by Thibs. The two turnovers by Pierce were incredibly dumb for a player of his experience. All's well that ends well, I suppose.

Ugly yet satisfying win. Going to need Rondo to keep scoring like this going forward.

Also, 10-13 from the line. Yowza.

Jeremy Lin will have it back at full mast soon enough.

All this trade talk for Rondo and how he has holes in his game, can't shoot the jumper and what not. But was anybody truly suprised that he ended up with a triple double?
