This is pretty fun

I laughed when I saw that they have the Slowest Pitch and the Slowest Pitch, Non-Wakefield divisions.
All in all a good read and it was nice that they embeded the mlb video, put a picture of contact AND a gif of the home-run, for us at work.

The best part isn't even just the home run. It's the whole sequence:
• dirt
• dirt
• dirt
• dirt
• dirt
• dirt
• highest pitch hit for a home run all year

Corey Patterson's HR was awesome. The catcher is literally patting his mitt on the ground to remind Colby Lewis to keep it *way* down, and instead Lewis throws a Tek standing-room-only special.
The pitcher doesn't even look to the catcher. He keeps looking at 3rd (2nd?) and just turns and throw.

he's banging the dirt, but then his glove is all the way up at the batter's chest even before the ball is released.
Yeah, that's like when Ivan Rodriguez pounds his catcher's mitt inside/outside so that the batter "hears" the location and then jumps to the other side right before the pitcher releases the ball.

Good stuff. Vlad is my favorite because it's basically the only swing on the list that was a full swing.
i love the opening line - "You know that Vladimir Guerrero is in here. Vladimir Guerrero pretty much has to be in here."

it was a hit and run and he needed to swing no matter what. The Herrera swing is unbelievable. I though it was only possible when you're playing MLB 2k12 and not paying attention.

If they had 2 outs, maybe. But with 0 outs, why gift the defense with a strike you have no chance whatsoever of fouling, nevermind hit?
