I hate to say it, but Yeah, he dropped the game clincher.

Anyone who thinks Pats fans are 'spoiled' can go fuck themselves.
Amen to that, I'm 17, I don't really know what sports failure is like.

This. I can't even begin to fathom how this happened twice.

Edit: didn't realize you were joking -- it really wasn't a good throw. If we're going to hate on people for that play, it's 50/50 between Brady and Welker.

As much as that drop hurt, I still think we should resign him. Without him the Pats offense would go completely out of wack.

The Pats lost for many reasons, but the stupid mistakes stand out. Intentional Grounding in the endzone, 12 men on the field on a 3rd down, letting Manningham get behind you, the challenge.

This is how I feel too. Even though using one play to judge him is unfair, he is that guy now. Fuck him. Fuck him for life.

That Pats had several chances to pull away in this thing and just didn't - sometimes through mental errors and stupid penalties. While those mistakes are on the board, I don't really see the point of throwing the blame on a guy who failed to catch a ball straight over his head while levitating parallel to the ground. That's just not where I draw my line in the sand.
I have watched Eli Manning play for a long time now and it has always been apparent that he had the makings of a great QB. I still think Tom Brady is the greatest QB ever, but it has to be said that he has come out tight as a tom-tom, overly wound up, mentally not in the game -let's just say it: he's been a touch chokey- in two SBs now. Eli Manning is no Tom Brady, but one might argue that that is not entirely a bad thing to say about Eli Manning at this point.
You go back to work next season and try again. They will win another one before Brady is done.

We lost to the luckiest team of all time. I can't believe this shit. The Giants shouldn't even be in the fucking playoffs.
Except Eli's now a SB win away from matching Brady, and just surpassed his Hall-of-Fame brother in that regard. It's time to eat some crow for Pats fans, not lament "luck."

Injured Gronk and an insane safety. Fuckin' bummer.
Let's build a goddamn defense and try again.
It wasn't the defense that cost them this game. Brady to Welker, they have to execute that play. If they do, they win. Period.

That happened a few times over the season, and it cost them the SB here.

Stop, please.
We lost because of the safety, 12 men on the field, Welker, and Eli.
None of the narratives played out except Eli being clutch.
Yes, and the Pats should have let them score earlier. Coughlin is 5 and 1 against BB.

He was wide open; a better pass and it's an easy catch.

You think they would have had more luck vs Green Bay?
As heartbreaking is it was to watch, the objective side of me says that they lost a coin-flip Super Bowl. They were one of the top 5 teams in the league this season, none of them which were any better or worse than each other. They just didn't get the bounces and were up against a team who flat-out showed up to play
Not having Gronk killed them and normally reliable guys made uncharacteristic mistakes (Brady, Branch, Welker).

This is a young team. It now needs to relieve the load on Brady, draft a game beaking RB and improve the defense.
Brady is now in the Elway phase II portion of his career. Pats need a T. Davis.

Anyway, fuck Eli Manning in the throat.

The 2 fumbles that bounced right to Giants were very lucky...but thats the breaks sometimes. I have NEVER EVER seen a throw in the middle of the field call intentional grounding....that call was absurd.
STOP., please.

I truly wish we wouldn't eat each other alive.
True that.
I'll be looking forward to the draft. This one hurts, but with the huge cap room and 2 first rounders, we'll be gunning for it again.
Just don't play the Giants in the SB.

Yes, and the Pats should have let them score earlier. Coughlin is 5 and 1 against BB.
The difference though is that before the actual TD, the Giants could pick up a first down without a TD, which is the worst situation possible. And when you are more than 6 yards from the End Zone I think there is more time for your "I've been instructed not to score a TD too early" brain to overtake your "I'm a competitive football player and I want that end zone" brain.
